Mossel Bay for example is famed for having a view of the Indian Ocean from every tee and each hole at Simola has broad vistas across the Knysna Lagoon or Knysna River. Pezula rates among the best and most scenic golf courses in the world, while Ernie Els states that Oubaai is one of his all-time favourite courses (it is designed by him).

There isn’t a single course on the Garden Route Golf Passport that can keep you from looking up and admiring the landscape. There are other notable features too; like, exceptional birdlife (including the colourful Knysna Lourie) at Plettenberg Bay Country Club, springbok grazing on the course at Mossel Bay, wind-free fairways at Simola and a great atmosphere in the bar at George Golf Course - giving it a reputation as the most popular watering hole. Friendliness and the quality of courses are often noted by passport golfers.

Passport holders score on price and availability too, with a round of golf at each of the participating courses, a hassle free booking service and expert advice on where to stay and what to do in the area from the tour operating arm of operator Forty-Two.
