Zimbali Country Club

Zimbali Country Club

Offering irresistible ocean and forest views, exceptional water and wetland features and an inspiring natural setting, Zimbali Country Club has developed the reputation of a memorable course with charisma and challenge.

With the brief that ‘conservation takes precedence’, international golf course designer Tom Weiskopf had to integrate a cart only course into a property with dramatic elevation changes, varying eco-systems and substantial residential sections. The end result is a prestigious course that is ecologically sound, yet maximizes the natural landscape. The changing terrain and greenery throughout the course provides a fair yet challenging experience for all level of golfers.

Warm season grasses are used throughout the course which provide the rich green colour all year round. The course has been improved on a continual basis and gradual amendments to landing areas and the general playability have ensured that presentability of the golf course is consistent and of top quality. The course is a par 72 that comprises of the standard ten par 4’s, four par 3’s and 4 par 5’s. Facilities that are available are a comfortable African Classical themed clubhouse, restaurant and bar, pro shop and plush locker rooms. There is a driving range and separate chipping and putting facilities for golfers to utilize at their convenience.

Enjoy the experience, embrace the natural habitat and treat the course with the respect that it deserves.
